About us

In the year 2000 three members of the Institute of Theoretical Computer Science at the ETH Zurich founded xeraina GmbH. It is an ETH spin off company. xeraina is known as one of the most innovative company in its specialization in Switzerland.

The employees of xeraina gained much experience within the area of complex and efficient algorithms and their conversion to practically relevant software applications.

Emphasis of their research and development is situated within the field of:

optimization and approximation algorithms,

image processing,

algorithmic geometry,

bases of geographical information systems (GIS) and

distributed applications.
